Tracy Guidi

Tracy has been with the City of Kelowna for 15 years, most recently as a sustainability coordinator. A major part of the position has been the development of a Community Climate Action Plan to reduce community greenhouse gas emissions 33 percent below 2007 levels by 2020. The position also involves developing working relationships with key stakeholders, investigating district energy policies and assisting in other long range planning initiatives. Tracy’s past position as an environmental technician involved coordinating the restoration of more than 10km of local streams, fostering partnerships with other stakeholders to implement targeted environmental education programs, and coordinating environmental stewardship and public events. Tracy has a Bachelor of Science in Chemistry degree from UBC.
