Town of Osoyoos Mayor of the Town of Osoyoos and chairman of the Okanagan Basin Water Board, Stu Wells is also a member of the Osoyoos Lake Water Quality Society. Over the years, he has served the community in many differing capacities including the Osoyoos Desert Society, the Okanagan Similkameen School District and the Okanagan Basin Stewardship Council. Stu is also the local chairman of the Osoyoos Lake Water Science Forum in conjunction with the International Joint Commission in Ottawa and Washington, DC. In his working career, Stu enjoyed 35 years with BC Tel and Telus.
