Leanne Hammond Komori

Leanne Hammond Komori is executive director of the Central Okanagan Foundation. Since taking over the position in April of 2006, she has seen the Foundation’s endowment grow to over $20 million from $8.7 million. She specializes in fund development, donor relations and media relations. Leanne has worked in the not-for-profit sector for more than 15 years. Prior to her position with the Central Okanagan Foundation, Leanne worked with Big Brothers Big Sisters for 10 years in a variety of positions starting with casework and direct service delivery, program management, and finally in fund development as Executive Director. Leanne has both a bachelor’s and a master’s degree in sociology from University of British Columbia, with a focus on social inequality.
