Kirk Stinchcombe is the founding director of Econnics, a company specializing in innovative water conservation and sustainability solutions for water utilities, the private sector and government. Before this, he was the manager of operational policy with the BC Ministry of Environment’s water stewardship division. He has published and spoken internationally on topics including rainwater harvesting, water use accounting, community-based social marketing and water pricing. He is a special advisor to the University of Victoria's POLIS Water Sustainability Project, a board member of the Chicago-based Alliance for Water Efficiency and has master’s degrees in business administration and environmental studies.
