City of Vernon Kim worked for the City of Burnaby for 13 years as a Long Range Planner, before joining the City of Vernon in 2007. She is a planning generalist and has extensive experience in community consultation. She and her team authored the new Official Community Plan for Vernon, which outlines an innovative and sustainable vision and strategy for future growth and development. Kim received her BA from SFU in history, political science and philosophy. She attended Queen’s University for her Masters in Planning.
