Joanne de Vries

Joanne de Vries is a communications consultant who has worked with local governments throughout British Columbia since 1992 to help them connect with their residents about sustainability-related topics such as community planning, water and wastewater management, air quality, energy efficiency, solid waste reduction, and transportation demand management. In 2006 she established the Fresh Outlook Foundation (FOF), the mission of which is to help build sustainable communities through enhanced communication and collaboration. Most recently, she launched SustainAbility Support Services Inc. as a social enterprise of FOF that offers consulting support to local governments and other organizations looking to enhance their capacity to create sustainable communities.
