Greg Moore

Greg Moore is in his third term as mayor of Port Coquitlam and previously served two terms as a city councillor. He is also a director on the Metro Vancouver board of directors and chair of the Metro Vancouver waste management committee. Prior to serving as mayor, Greg worked for the City in the parks and recreation and development services departments. He believes community engagement results in better Council decisions, and began his term by revising Council’s committee system – with Council’s consent – to include citizen advisors in the decision-making process. His priorities are to build a stronger local economy, improve transportation, enhance the environment, improve community safety and celebrate community pride. Greg holds a bachelor’s degree in urban geography/planning and a master’s degree in business administration.
