Ben Chin
Ben Chin has more than 20 years experience in communications and public engagement. He is currently Vice President, Conservation Incentives at Air Miles for Social Change (AMSC), where he works with governments, public utilities, and agencies across Canada to build greater public engagement in energy efficiency and conservation. Air Miles For Social Change leverages the reach and power of Air Miles to cost effectively drive public participation in energy and water conservation, public transit, waste diversion, and healthy living. Before joining AMSC, Ben was Vice President, Communications at the Ontario Power Authority, where he oversaw communications, corporate marketing, and government relations during the launch of Ontario’s feedāin tariff for renewable energy. He has worked in the public sector, as Director of Media Relations in the Office of The Premier of Ontario, as well as in the private sector, as Vice President of Media Strategy at National Public Relations. Ben began his career as a broadcast journalist, working as a reporter and news anchor at City TV, CTV, and the CBC.
