Andrew Moon
Andrew Moon is vineyard manager at Tinhorn Creek Winery, south of Oliver, BC. Andrew oversees the 130-acres of estate vines in the South Okanagan and is responsible for such sustainable initiatives as a $1,000,000 drip installation project, converting the farm to biodiesel (the only one in the South Okanagan) and developing an innovative on-site compost program. Prior to moving to the Okanagan in 2009, Andrew worked for Ormonhill Vineyards, Colbinabbin Estate and Freeman’s Bridge Vineyards in Australia. He holds a trade certificate in Viticulture Brit Bendigo and a diploma in viticulture from Melbourne University and has completed three years of a bachelor of science degree at the University of Newcastle.
