University of Cincinnati Adrian Parr is an associate professor in the school of architecture and interior design and the department of women’s, gender and sexuality studies at the University of Cincinnati and the winner of the 2011 Rieveschl Award for Scholarly and Creative Work. She has published several books including Hijacking Sustainability, Deleuze and Memorial Culture, and New Directions in Sustainable Design. Her forthcoming book, The Wrath of Capital, will be published by Columbia University Press in 2012.
