Joanne de Vries is a communications consultant who has worked with local governments throughout British Columbia since 1992 to help them connect with their residents about sustainability‐related topics such as community planning, water and wastewater management, air quality, energy efficiency, solid waste reduction, and transportation demand management. In 2006 she established the Fresh Outlook Foundation, the mission of which is to help build sustainable communities through enhanced communication and collaboration.
